Freegle group for Bagshot
Bagshot now has it's own Freegle group, set-up and moderated by Lorna Gadd. So what is Freegle? Well to quote the Freegle web-site: "You might not need your old sofa or wheelbarrow any more – but there might be someone just round the corner who does. Or if there's something you'd like, someone nearby might have one that they might just throw away if they don't know what else to do with it. Freegle groups make this happen online. Sign up, post an OFFER of something you want to get rid of, or a WANTED for something you need."Lorna set-up the group soon after Freegle was born out of the freecycle movement. "The name Freegle comes from 'free' and 'legal', which are the two main rules" says Lorna. "but FREEly Given, Locally, Easily is a better tag line - it's great for the environment and helps stop good stuff from being thrown away".
