Lightwater RFC Looking for Players and Sponsors

Lightwater rugby club was established over 30 years ago when founder, Doug Driver placed an advert in the local newspaper in search of like minded people with one common interest, a passion to play rugby! Since then the club has gone from strength to strength. Lightwater RFC currently plays in the Surrey IV league, with a respectable mid-table finish last year.

Despite the name, Lightwater RFC's "HQ" is here in Bagshot in the back of the Three Mariners. As well as recruiting new players, the club is looking for sponsorship from local business. Here's what they're offering:

"We are approaching businesses in the local community to offer them one of the many opportunities available to sponsor Lightwater RFC. The minibus is the latest addition to our portfolio but we are also looking for sponsors on our branded clothing, both on and off the pitch and training equipment.

We are a non-profit organisation and survive solely on the commitment and dedication of our players, committee and supporters who donate their time and money to keep the club running successfully. We would love to add the support of the local businesses to this list.

We appreciate times are tight so whatever your budget we will happily work up a proposal to suit, prices can start from as little as £50 for the season.
