Sadie G designer clothes store opening in Bagshot

2011_sadieg_logoSadie G, an exciting nearly-new designer clothes store with an online shop and high street boutique in Bagshot, Surrey, is to launch at the beginning of May 2011.

Owner Chalice Croke is passionate about sharing fashion at affordable prices and she has been busy creating a space where women can buy and sell high quality pre-loved clothing via a trustworthy brand.

Sadie G will have an easy-to-use online shop on its website Sadieg.co.uk as well as a shop in Bagshot, Surrey. The store will have a boutique feel, bringing to the market a unique shopping experience that women will want to be a part of. Sadie G will cater for all ages, shapes and sizes, stocking a range of designer brands from Jaeger and Whistles to Missoni and Roberto Cavalli (and some less extravagant brands too). Chalice and her team will hand pick, personally shop for and sell to people who can rely on Sadie G to provide good quality items. Sadie G will collect, deliver and do everything possible to make the selling and buying experiences easy.

2011_chalice_loresChalice has spent years working in London’s advertising industry, surrounded by fashion, and she would often travel miles to a good dress agency to seek out quality second-hand designer and vintage clothing so she could look and feel good for a fraction of the normal price. Like many people, Chalice used EBay and other online outlets to bring cheaper fashion closer to her home, but she found it too impersonal and too time consuming and it simply didn't fit in with her busy lifestyle.

Chalice realised lots of her friends, colleagues and contacts encountered similar needs - a desire to look good for less, a need for more value for less time and a reliable brand they could buy from. Chalice lost count of all the trustworthy brands, shops and online outlets for buying new clothes and kept asking "Why can't it be the same for nearly new clothes?". Chalice found such a gap in the market, she decided she just had to set up Sadie G.

Sadie G will offer an online community, monthly events and private views for customers.

Chalice Croke, founder of Sadie G, said: “It’s our mission to make women’s wardrobes and accessories work for them by making it easy to buy affordable nearly new clothes, bags, shoes and accessories and to sell the items they no longer want. We will travel far and wide to find buyers and sellers, to ensure we bring fashion closer to home. This is a totally new approach for the secondhand clothes market, so we’re excited to launch the Sadie G brand.”
